| Bio: | Hi there! I'm John, He Who Defies Rational Explanation. I'm husband and friend to Jenny, plus I'm Father (and hopefully friend) to Joe and Becky, my teenaged son and daughter. But this blog focuses on the newest addition to the family, for whom I am Father and now Chronicler: My recently-turned-toddler son, Isaac Phineas.
Isaac came to us out of the blue -- at least that's what I call it when a baby shows up after an OB/GYN says "I can't explain how you two *ever* had kids". Eleven years of infertility are enough to convince most people, but apparently not Isaac.
This blog is my chronicle of life with Isaac, a delightful little one with my nose and his mom's stubborn nature (or maybe the other way around). He struggles with Sensory Integration Deficit, so things like sound, touch, and smell sometimes give him trouble. As we help him discover his world, he also helps us see ours more clearly.
Once, I worried that I could only love one child. Then I fretted over two. Now I'm settled with three. Here's to Isaac, my newest life instructor. :) |
